Andrew Hartness is the founding principal of HartnessVision LLC. He received a BA in studio art from UNC-Chapel Hill, and a DESA diploma with highest honors from the Ecole Speciale d'Architecture in Paris, France. Hartness worked as freelance architect and imaging specialist before joining Ateliers Jean Nouvel as architect and director of 3D development. In 2007 he completed a post-professional degree in urban design at Harvard Graduate School of Design. He worked with Cambridge-based planning firm Chan Krieger Sieniewicz until establishing HartnessVision in 2009.
